Migraine-free creamy chocolate chip chocolate fudge Cliff bars
In a small bowl combine 1/4 Cup ground flax meal with 1/4 Cup water and let sit until ooey gooey.
In the meantime, combine the following in a large bowl:
1 - 9 oz bag 69/or 70% dark chocolate chips
1 tsp. pure Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp pure almond extract
1-1.5 C Steel cut Oats
4 heaping scoops of Orgain brand Organic Protein plant based. For this recipe I used the creamy chocolate fudge flavor my husband had in the fridge.
1/4 tsp. sea or Himalayan salt
1/4 Cup pure maple syrup
1/4 Cup Lakanto sweetener
1/4 Cup Almond milk -( I used the 365 unsweetened organic brand because it doesn't have guar gum or Carageenan in it. Those two things can cause a lot of inflammation in the gut. )
When the flax meal/water binder is gooey, add to the batter and mix everything together.
grease a 6X9 inch pan with coconut oil, avocado oil or butter and pack down the batter into the pan so it is even. If you like these bars thicker, use a smaller pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15-25 minutes or until it gets to the consistency and texture you like.
